I hope Ed sells this "new album" at half price. People have already bought the 5 EP songs...and if Ed wants you to pay full price for a "new album" with what will be only half new songs for those that bought the EP then he will have stooped to a new low.

The only way Ed goes lower is if he does the "Album Only" option in iTunes where you can only purchase the new songs if you buy the entire album (thus buying the EP songs again).

There are millions of livefans. Perhaps 1000 are members of this board. Now if the entire board caresabout this lawsuit which won't affect anyone of us, then you won't even get 1%so I think i'm being overly conservative.

I think you under estimate themillions who left in droves over Ed's control, that speaks the loudest. I'm close to the situation and I speak fromthat perspective and yes it's very slanted, but more aligned with the factsthan people want to accept. Many Ed fansdon't care or want to know what he's done. They should know, their pedestal man is not so squeaky clean.

And every damn thing Ed produces results in comments about him havinglost his song writing ability and is writing crap pop etc etc etc. Some peoplecannot realise he does not want to be what he was and is quite happy producinga new style of music that the original fans may not like. He doesn't care andnor should he an artist needs to believe and feel what he is doing not simplycreate something he thinks some people want. That is not an artist anymore.

To me Ed the artist is dead. His music doesn't inspire me and hasn't since2002. His new fans are the only ones inhis corner. Yes they like the pop shit,so that's fine. I have no problem. What he's done wit butchering the old Live standards is a crime.

U can't stand by and watch ed take over? Live have moved on and their futurewill hold what ever they want. And even if it hadn't, you think you couldchange something from comments on this forum? This forum is a blip on the radarand irrelevant in the real world and is only for some of the few hardcore fansthat are left to share concerts/bootlegs and chat.

I'm as hardcore old skool' asthey come. The MM section is the best. I was most personally offended of the Ed control takeover.

Flooding every Ed post with negativity will achieve nothing but piss offthose who like his music even though such people (I am one) have been a massiveLive fan from day one and am still looking forward to the new Live album too.

Yes the SJN response thread wascreated for this, but Dan closed it. Sothis is what you're gonna expect. Maybe,that thread needs re-opening. Actually,I highly recommend it be re-opened. The 12/14shit storm is coming. L4L and Nick willbe in full spin mode for sure.

I honestly dont give a rats anymore about what happened and who payswhat etc I just want music to listen to and feel and by the way I can't believepeople are still harping on about 4 songs of The Garden will be on the finalalbum OMG this is like so pissy and irrelevant it shows that some will jump onanything just to have a go at Ed it discredits anything else you say even if itdoes have some merit.

I actually stated I didn't careif he releases an EP. His solo recordsare of his own doing and I won't be buying either. Honestly his lyrics are totally in thedrain, it's the same re-gurgetated stuff. Over-produced sound. Rise is hisattempt to tell people he's innocent…..wait for that lead balloon.

Yes I'm here and I do care about something - I love Live and have lovedthem forever that I can remember and thats why i'm here. Their old music meansso much to me and I enjoy that we have double the new music coming out (Ididn't really get TGF tho).

We can agree on one of the2. TGF can only be appreciated by hardcore rock n roll fans. I can understandthis music doesn't suit all tastes but it does show C&C&P are completemusicians and even better than when they started. TGF record shows their contributions are way,way more than Ed acknowledges and this is what pisses me off. And it was a test to themselves to see if thepush to have them muted made them jaded all these years…..it far from made themjaded, it reignited them. It allowedthem to understand in themselves to continue Live in the traditional method andmessage. Total collaboration, allmusic!!! No control freaks needed inthe new journey. Ed's proved one thing,he has changed to the person he used to write about.
