As a music fan Pokey, you must be less optimistic about new Live than you were with The Gracious Few. The Gracious Few had an established, already successful lead singer in Kevin Martin, and Live's old producer Jerry Harrison on board. However you feel about Chris Shinn personally, he is a huge step down from Martin, and last I heard Live's new music is self-produced(which is a huge step down from Harrison).

Was Ed established as a fledgling teeny bopper, almost forcing himself into the band? Nope

Again, Secret Samadhi wasn't done by JH, and it might have been the most sonically consistent Live record. Very very quality music. TDTH didn't outsell SS and Jerry produced that one. It has nothing to do with Jerry, keep in mind Ed hates Jerry. He resisted having him back for TDTH and afterwards.

Chris Shinn is very well respected in a lot of music circles in LA and Nashville, just because he isn't hugely famous doesn't mean he doesn't have what it takes. Many many people are really rooting for him to have a wonderful time fronting Live. It is a band again.

Only reason for your spaced out opinions is to flare tensions and take away from the very ones that helped Ed make a name for himself. Just like Daughtry cast aside his band mates, and many other cases of Lead Singer Disease.

this forum is becoming total bullsh&%t really.....to harp on about being double charged for 4 songs because we got them early with a few mixes for the arm and a leg price of 6 bucks is total crap someone needs to find a hobby.

And why does every damn ed topic head back to a lawsuit that 99% of ppl don't give a crap about???!?!?! It is driving people away from this forum who wants to hear the same crap over and over...bands break up all the time and its not usually amicable who cares.

And while I'm at it we all know that Ed has a new taste now and will not recreate throwing copper so accept it and move on if you dont like his new stuff piss off and stay in the 90's because some people do like his new music and actually want to talk about it.
