Before, Dan woke up and saw another verbal mess from Nick (not sure why you let him continue Dan), and deleted the thread, Nick said TGF was told to cease and desist playing CB songs at TGF concerts by the remaing members of CB.

I told him and (others did too, WD, Maestro) that he's nuts as usual. Asked for proof in his statements....of course we got a circle out and silence.

I told him that this is pure BS and the reason they stopped was because they wanted to grow themselves as TGF and not do Live or CB covers.

Make TGF stand on it's own and it did. I mentioned that in concerts you can hear folks asking for CB songs, mostly Far Behind. Kevin has been up front in saying, we are the gracious few. And you're going to hear TGF.

I present to you The Gracious Few.

Nick, please flush yourself down the drain.....midgetman.

You are the ones that put your two cents in the Ed section constantly. Constantly knocking Ed's EP and tour(which most of you haven't been to). The members who actually attend Ed's shows on this board, usually come back with a positive review(particuarly the recent I Alone acoustic shows).

Hang on ... how does that work Nick? You say we can't judge Ed's shows because we haven't been to them and theres these good reviews. Yet you weren't at the Live shows this year and you feel you can judge them despite the great reviews from those who went? Seems like a double standard to me there, bucko!

If you watch our threads, you tend to mention me first, looking for my opinion(just so you can start a fight). If you don't want to hear from me, go to White, Discussion.com, The GraciousFans.com or Live's FB page. The reason you(and many others) stay, is because you like the conflict. Face it.

Well it's clear you aren't going away so we ask generally for you to back up your opinions, which you can barely muster.

In case you don't know, this is a LIVE fan site. Have a look at the people in the banner at the top of the page; notice anyone missing? It's your pal, Eddie K,we shouldn't have to go anywhere. We have a passion for Live's music, you have a passion for how much money Ed can make, and it makes us sick.

I can't speak for others, but personally, I'd prefer you gone or locked in the Ed section over all the conflict.

I put forth the suggestion to have you put in the Ed section since you clearly have no interest in anything else, and for a bunch of us to be locked out of the Ed section ... why would I have pushed so hard for that and wanted that if I preferred conflict?

So I want to discuss:

1. The person who wrote all of Live's songs
2. The person who fronted the group for 20 years
3. The only person currently releasing music and touring from the original Live

You all hate Ed, but seem to be contributing to a lot of Ed discussion as of late. Why is that?

Well, you're not even going to get past the first point. You take the fact that he was involved in the song writing and turn it into he did everything. I'm willing to say he was the primary song writer. However, there was major influence from the other 3. You completely discard them as if he could have done what he did without them. Not even close. Ed would not have been the same person had it not been for CCP. It's no different than the influence you'd get from your parents or your family or the environment in which you grew up in. The four of them grew up in music together. They all shaped each other and the experience they had together shaped them collectively. Ed is not some special person that was above influence from anywhere else. Hell, he practically lifted the lyrics for MJ right from Krishnamurti. CCP were just as important to Ed's success as a writer as were his lyrics to their music. They all benefited and reaped the rewards collectively.
