Before, Dan woke up and saw another verbal mess from Nick (not sure why you let him continue Dan), and deleted the thread, Nick said TGF was told to cease and desist playing CB songs at TGF concerts by the remaing members of CB.

I told him and (others did too, WD, Maestro) that he's nuts as usual. Asked for proof in his statements....of course we got a circle out and silence.

I told him that this is pure BS and the reason they stopped was because they wanted to grow themselves as TGF and not do Live or CB covers.

Make TGF stand on it's own and it did. I mentioned that in concerts you can hear folks asking for CB songs, mostly Far Behind. Kevin has been up front in saying, we are the gracious few. And you're going to hear TGF.

I present to you The Gracious Few.

Nick, please flush yourself down the drain.....midgetman.

QUOTE(Pokey @ Dec 2 2012, 2:56 am) *

nick: that CBox put a stop to TGF playing CBox songs. His proof? Running away when asked for proof. Not to mention trying to counter my claim about Eds set lists with the fact TGFs set lists were all the same, that was countered with the fact they only had one album, what did he expect them to play? He ran away from that one too.

I am sure the members of Candlebox didn't want Kevin Martin covering their music in concert, since the band just reformed a few years earlier. Did anyone tell me that as fact, no. Did anyone say my theory was incorrect, and offer a better solution, no as well.

The plan all along was to play Live/Candlebox music. They played the songs that summer and they were well received. Does anyone think covering a Live/Candlebox song would have done anything but add to their show? If my theory was wrong, and Candlebox didn't ask Kevin to stop playing the music, the guys of TGF made a bonehead mistake by not adding a little Live/Candlebox to their show.
