QUOTE(Badman @ Nov 27 2012, 11:49 am) *

In Ed's head, he is talking about how he has changed from rock and roll excess to finding god/family. Many of us here twist it into him singing about how he has changed to become a guy who backstabs his friends CC&P. This is probably the clearest way I can explain it here for someone who is new to the board smile.gif

CCP had no problem taking 75 percent song writing credit and money for songs that Ed basically wrote 100 percent himself. I think that is a pretty crummy thing to do to a friend.

There you have it Nick, that's what happened to Live. Want to give Ed 100% credit for SFBM. Go right ahead because that was the nail in the coffin for Live. Go ahead, give him 90% credit for BOP if you want. Give him the credit he deserves for killing Live. CCP carried his ass on the early albums with their music. He became exposed real quickly when he muted them. Unfortunately it exposed Live as well. They probably should have gone with a new singer post TDTH when it was clear that Ed could no longer write and perform songs that held up to CCP's music.
