In Ed's head, he is talking about how he has changed from rock and roll excess to finding god/family. Many of us here twist it into him singing about how he has changed to become a guy who backstabs his friends CC&P. This is probably the clearest way I can explain it here for someone who is new to the board

CCP had no problem taking 75 percent song writing credit and money for songs that Ed basically wrote 100 percent himself. I think that is a pretty crummy thing to do to a friend.

Why such the concern for which band members get what percentage of royalties? Enjoy the music. It's like you are his agent and get paid a percentage of his revenue.

No Ed has a manager and agent....Nick is simply trying to dream all that as fact and act it out. plenty of proof of this.....idol worship.



He got a few crumbs of being FB admin. Nick states he and Ed are not friends.....then says Ed has his moments but wont elaborate.......it's political spin doctoring to try to stay both sides of the fence.......practicing to be popular......hoping to get acceptance from everyone he preys on. Missing out on nurturing while in early development is the best answer for this.
