In Ed's head, he is talking about how he has changed from rock and roll excess to finding god/family. Many of us here twist it into him singing about how he has changed to become a guy who backstabs his friends CC&P. This is probably the clearest way I can explain it here for someone who is new to the board

CCP had no problem taking 75 percent song writing credit and money for songs that Ed basically wrote 100 percent himself. I think that is a pretty crummy thing to do to a friend.

Wow what a read!

Did Ed come up with a statement about the writing process of the band since the break-up. The only point of view we have is Chad's. And I am really confident that he can see both sides of the medal. He can point out his sins.

As long as Ed stays silent, there is no reason to believe that the 25% for everyone agreement was wrong. And from the quality of the work the guys did during the first 4 records everyone deserved this equal amount.

And I hate to hear about Ed's deserving most of the concert royalties. Chad's stomping is also a trademark for the band. And Patrick's bass saved some boring songs...Did you listen Nick to Wings on Paradiso DVD? Do it...Pat gives life to this one. He wasn't restrained or castrated like in the studio. Not to talk about CAG.
