The Songwriting of Live Options

In Ed's head, he is talking about how he has changed from rock and roll excess to finding god/family. Many of us here twist it into him singing about how he has changed to become a guy who backstabs his friends CC&P. This is probably the clearest way I can explain it here for someone who is new to the board

CCP had no problem taking 75 percent song writing credit and money for songs that Ed basically wrote 100 percent himself. I think that is a pretty crummy thing to do to a friend.

I think Ed's EP is actually very good, and getting positive reviews from his fanbase. The one actual review from a website was very positive as well. I'M the Proof is also doing very well on Alternative Addiction.com charting high on the singles chart for the past month.

I can handle criticism, but no one here has been able to admit that Ed did the bulk of the songwriting for Live, and got shafted on the royalties by CCP. Did I expect agreement on this site, absolutely not. However, it is the truth, and people know it.

Ed agreed to 25% and the band had an agreement in writing that stated that.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but its just sour grapes from Ed and dickheads like you.

Its like a little kid crying "that's not fair".

Ed got rich because of all of the hard work and efforts by CCP regardless of who wrote the music.

Funny, now that he has no money he's crying poor and believes he deserves more. Ripping off his bandmates didn't work, falsely advertising and billing himself didn't work and writing shit music didn't work either.

His day is coming, he's being sued for being misleading and dishonest and all of his recent behaviour just reinforces CCP's reason for commencing legal action in the first place.
