In Ed's head, he is talking about how he has changed from rock and roll excess to finding god/family. Many of us here twist it into him singing about how he has changed to become a guy who backstabs his friends CC&P. This is probably the clearest way I can explain it here for someone who is new to the board

CCP had no problem taking 75 percent song writing credit and money for songs that Ed basically wrote 100 percent himself. I think that is a pretty crummy thing to do to a friend.

So by what you're saying, none of Ed's band now have lifted a finger to help in any way shape of form to help in the writing process because the credits go to Ed? Even though Ed said that Ramy has chipped in with bits before? Your theory just has way too many holes in it man.

So are you ready to tell us yet why you want Ed back together with CCP? You know, since you see CCP as totally useless, isn't it just better Ed stays on his own and it's no different?
