Ed's alleged unauthorised usage of an image, Claim by Lerxst Options

Ed has just updated his webpage. He removed the splash page, and now has all news and tour dates on the front page on the site(along with a FB/twitter feed). He also has a promo for his upcoming EP November 19th along with Rise and The Garden streaming up top. All in all, very nice!

I see he's still selling stuff with my image on it. And Cat Lady you commented on this earlier in a thread before Dan shut it down but before you jump in, you should shut your face or I'll produce the EXIF data and make you look stupid.. you already do a good enough job of that on your own.

Updated website? Good deal. But we forget the real question here. Can I still buy a phone call? If so, where is the link for that?

Could you post what you are talking about? I'm curious and I have no idea what image you are referring to.

EddieK cross-T on his store. I also saw it sold at a show I was at a while back in Los Angeles.

Image was shot at a show in Toronto. No permission asked, no quick email "hey we're gonna use this are you cool?", no thank you, no nothing. As I said in an earlier post, the difference between that and how the guys CCCP treat photographers and images is different. When they wanted to use a really cool shot of CT for possible poster/shirt/merch, they immediately contacted said photographer and asked for permission and open up discussion on how much to pay for use of said image. I mean I'm not surprised.. we're talking about class guys here who understand copyrights and trademarks. Unlike others who would use the Live name in current promotions and misleading/deceptive marketing..
