"I just saw an old Ed lyric and had to laugh my ass off. "Does he run it deep enough for you?" Seriously? And this guy wants back in LIVE? I can hear it now..guys, here's one I wrote about water, "the dolphins make me cry" ...oh shit... That's Hootie!!"

What the hell? Ed makes shitty music and now Chad T acts like a giant douche. I just gave up on my favorite band.

Even though there is no doubt that Ed has done a lot of things wrong it will never justify this kind of behavior. If Ed wants to get back in the band, Chad T could politely tell him to go fuck off, but never post it on Facebook and at the same time mock his lyrics... They act like a bunch of teenagers.

When Keith and Mick used to argue in the press, I loved seeing into how complex their relationship was. Ultimately, no matter how troubled it was, I saw that this dynamic fueled the fire to some of their best music. Since most of you have never been in a band, I find it hilarious to see how many you react when a little real controversy hits these pages. Yep, I didn't like every LIVE lyric just like Ed thought my guitar was out of tune or whatever? I'm not perfect nor is my take on music. Point is, we're human and everything is subjective. Bands are about COMPROMISE. In my opinion, when I felt that Ed had stopped compromising, LIVE started going full retard and everyone knows, you never go full retard (that's a Tropic Thunder movie quote intended for a little comic relief - I think everyone knows I'm pretty friggin compassionate). Behind the scenes, I fought hard for my vision but was always willing to bend so that the dynamic of the band was in f
irst position. It didn't always mean you got the best music but we tried hard to give you the best LIVE (this includes Ed's vision of LIVE btw). I got super angry a few days ago after I saw yet another Ed poster where the LIVE logo was front and center. It's bullshit. Ed told management that Patrick, Chad and I should be walking on egg shells around him or he'd quit the band to pursue his solo career. I have this in writing. There's no hearsay. So, if we pushed Ed to compromise he'd quit AND quit he did. Now he uses our logo to promote his solo career. What the fuck else should I do but be offended? I didn't kick his ass out of LIVE, he left to say that he'd never work with those individuals again. Then he wrote an open letter to the paper (hey he had my number) saying he wanted back in LIVE? Behind the scenes Patric, Chad and I authored and signed a mutual release to get rid of the negativity of the law suit. Ed would not sign it! Heck, I respect the rock n roll craziness but that beats even Axl Rose (love you Axl, don't ever change). I'd been texting with Ed about how to find a way to get over this shit AND then another new show was announced with an even bigger LIVE logo. We'll fuck that. I texted Ed for the last time and told him that he had no right to be in LIVE as he showed no respect for the band itself. I'm actually in the band and wouldn't pull that shit. So there you have it. LIVE is C, C, C and P until those in the band say any fucking different. - CT out.
