Can be producer for future records, but maybe just a friend of the band?

I don't think he's a known or famous producer. Can't find any specific info on what albums of bands he already produced in the past (are there any at all?). But fact is he did a lot of other work, such as mixing, co-producing and enginering for bands albums.

He even worked on BoP and SFBM, and he described on his Myspace that he mixed many times for Jim Wirt.... you know the producer we all love
Fact is he produced Forever + Purifier (proof is on the above page)

But this is ofcourse all speculation. Maybe he will keep it at just these 2 songs.

The way I read it is that the guy doesn't know much about the band and what he does know pertains to the very worst era in Live history. He's also an industry noob.

This has merit, but he thought he was hearing the original band. He is a noob. The people in attendance were fully happy with the show.
