New lyrics: Shinn or Group effort?, Ned: Please stay out of this thread Options

Do you guys think Shinn wrote the lyrics or was it a collaborative effort like The Gracious Few? I'm hoping it was a bit of both. I'm still not sure if Shinn was the primary writer for Unified Theory? Anyone know?

I have no intention of ever defending Nick, however, preemptive attacks on his douchebaggery aren't actually necessary/pleasant/what I come here for.
How many people must I now put on ignore? I read the 2nd page thinking Nick had said something ridiculous. Unless i missed something, people are digging up stuff (I do remember him saying) from other threads and making sarcastic remarks. I feel like it's what I'm always accused of in an argument as a women (bringing up stuff long forgotten from forever ago as if it's relevant to current issues - and maybe everything Nick's doing IS relevant to some, but I like to try to be a grown up and I'm working really hard to maintain positivity, so each day is a new day. I have him on ignore. If the thread appears to be civil, I'll read a post of his. If civility is maintained, I'll read and respond to his posts like he's a regular human just like anyone else here. If the douchebaggery continues, I'll go right back to the ignore system. it's not that hard.)

also, did people really leave? I should explore more around the board... .that seems silly to me. I can understand family members of the band and such deciding they don't need the drama, but OTD - who I am eternally grateful for for getting me into the York show - really left? I must've missed something. Oh well, no need to derail this thread, but there's no way I would let anyone chase me off the one place Live fans can gather round the campfire.

On topic - I'm fully under the assumption that CS is the main lyricist, and the rest of the guys create songs together based on what he's written, or maybe they've written some music and he's added some lyrics. I wouldn't be surprised if CT has a lyrical influence/contribution, though. I know he dabbles (and it's good - he can dabble all day, as far as I'm concerned). I feel like, the more the merrier!!
