I went to a lot of the shows in Pittsburgh and I saw the acoustic show that they did with Janes Addiction.

I believe it was then that Live started to crumble to me.

Ed appeared to be nearly drunk for the performance and was drinking throughout the show. About five songs in Ed was doing Overcome by himself and someone (not sure if it was a guitar tech or Chad himself) made a mistake and bumped their guitar. It made a quick sound and was quickly muted. Mid vocals, Ed swings around and makes and angry gesture at Chad then turns back to the crowd to continue singing. Chad then threw his guitar down on the couch and left the stage.

This sadly, was my last memory of a Live concert.

Ed was not the same frontman that I had remembered during that show. He had a different feel about him. Don't know if it was self righteousness or not, but it is sad that this is how I have remembered him.

What was your last memory of Live?

well hre is my review of the last time i saw LIVE . it was their 3rd night at the palais in melbourne and yes i had been to the first two..

Well our third night, just me and my 10 year old daughter. The cowd was standing at the first song and never sat down all night. This despite Ed's voice being a little tired. He struggled through the first 4 - 5 songs and then told us he was going to sing like Johnny Cash for the rest of the night. He reckoned it was our fine wine that might be effecting him (could've been slightly intoxicated). But the band made up for it with great enthusiasm. Ed had several conversations in the middle of songs to give his singing voice a break. Anyways, it was still great and the only sad thing is how long we have to wait for them to come back.

Then my daughter and I went down ackland street for a coffee and cake (hot choc for her). you should have seen her face...I will never forget her standing on the seat next to me, foam ear plugs firmly in her ears screaming out the words to Iris (her fav song)
