Probably because it's Wisconsin...
I know concerts here are less expensive than Australia, but how much less? What would the same type of show cost there?

I think the Ed acoustic show here was $70 from memory, and our exchange rates are roughly the same. International touring acts like Ed/Live are 70-90. The really huge acts like say U2 or Foo Fighters or legacy acts like The Rolling Stones are generally over 100. Smaller international bands and national touring artists are generally 50 and under. Of course there are exceptions to all of these but that's roughly. I paid 90 to see The Pixies in Australia. I paid 25 to see them in Texas sad.gif

That being said there are still plenty of good acts to see for cheap here. Got 4 gigs to go to next month all $20 or under.
