That's awesome, did you go? I've never been to a convention before, I always figured it was just stepping into a world I couldn't handle, I mean I like Batman don't get me wrong, but I would be lost in the argument of what shade of gold his belt was in issue #314.
Although I nearly went to one here a few years back because it was cheap and I really wanted a photo with Ernie Hudson because, well, it's Ernie Hudson.

Nah, didn't go this time. I went in 2010 and saw Summer Glau. Spent 1 hour in a Q&A session which was pretty neat. Also saw Michael Winslow (dude from Police Academy) do a Q&A session and a short show.

There's certainly a certain fanboy element to the Expo but if you just want to go there to get a pic/autograph of your favourite star and attend a workshop/Q&A session then you can avoid that
