LIVE tracks are ready for vocals. Headed in the next few weeks to Nashville to get Shinn's session started. This is a really exciting time for me and can't wait to hear his voice on these tracks. Fun, fun, fun but time for a weekend of rest.

I firmly believe there is no question about CS's role in Live at this point.
I do believe it was a possibility Ed would come back if he wanted to before the March show in York, but once on stage with CCP, I'm pretty sure CS is the man. Period. Ed made a decision when he left the band, and, OTD would know better than I, but I'm pretty sure there was at least an attempt at communication with the possibility of Ed's return under the original 25/25/25/25 collaboration scheme.
Clearly Ed has moved on to the cardboard drum set.

Chris Shinn is the man. And a worthy, and capable man at that. The York show convinced me. Talking to him after only sealed the deal for me even more.

But I cannot forsee a scenario in the near or even remotely distant future where CCP drop CS (after the York and SXSW shows - and now recording with him) to take Ed back.
I'm not saying a reunion 10 years from now is impossible.
Shit, nuclear winter 10 years from now is possible. I'll not speculate on what will happen in 10 years.

But this year, this summer... I expect LIVE music, with Mr. Shinn leading the vocals. and I'm pumped. (I'd be even more pumped with a 15 second audio clip...)
