I've been meaning to upload this baby for a while and seeing lovedevine's other thread reminded me so cheers

Can't believe it's been over 12 years since I first saw +Live+ back in 1997. This bootleg was recorded at Rod Laver Arena (known back then as simply Melbourne Park) and broadcast by Triple J (can you believe they ever played our dorky lads?).

This is one of the best quality recordings from the Secret Samadhi era and some of these stellar performances were used for as b-sides for future singles.

Also, dangum's tape is good, but not the best source to work with.

Comparing to the MP3s from the first post: I can hear the compression in the MP3s (tinny cymbals, clipped peaks), but whatever they used was a really good, clean source. There is nice fidelity.

Dan's tape suffers a bit in that regard (as it is a cassette recording of a radio broadcast 15 years ago), but I'm trying to make some minor adjustments, using the MP3s as a reference.

The bonus though about dan's tape is that it is complete. The announcer's introduction, and additional band chatter & instrument prep are on the tape. About 25 extra seconds at the beginning. I haven't compared the ends yet.

I lined up the first track, and can post a comparison file if anyone is interested
