Railo was on coke. Ed (and the rest of the band, possibly, during the 90's - or early 90's if I believe the rumors) just enjoyed pot.

drugs are bad. say NO to meth. say YES to rollerskating!!

seriously, though, I've heard backstage rumors/stories about all 4 members getting high after shows (I do believe I've heard that Ed would get high before shows, but that's not something I ever witnessed myself, so I have no clue).
Ed, in an interview, said that they were "friendly with the gardener" during the writing of SS in Jamaica. dreads.gif I assume he meant the 4 of them.

but I wasn't there for any of it, so I don't know for sure. I know I've seen them drink. on stage and off, but since when is alcohol a drug??? victory.gif
