That was a truly great interview with Ed. He seemed authentic, happy, funny, humble and down to earth. He wasn't hiding behind any answers - he seemed sincere. I enjoyed hearing his thoughts in his answers. He didn't portray his relationship with Live in any kind of controversial way. Now that's the kind of Ed I have admired and respected. Keep it up, man. I guess. I mean, our standards must be pretty low for him now when that passes for a great interview. You're right, at least he didn't portray Live in any bad way. I expected him to say something profound when asked what makes him feel alive, not that he likes deep sea fishing and of course coffee.

I was comparing it to a few interviews he did where you could just tell by his subtle mannerisms that he was being deceptive. This one seemed pretty sincere and likeable, which I think is a distinction from what I have seen from him as of late. I have been trying really hard to be objective and open to seeing positive change when it comes to Ed.
