I will be honest when i first found this site i was a full blown Ed supporter, but i had not heard Alive yet nor had i heard of the lawsuit...etc.... I even posted some things in support of Ed that i really probably didn't believe myself. After a few weeks on here reading topics, watching recent video clips and listening to Alive i soon realized that this guy is too far gone from the guy i knew. All i'm saying is thanks for opening my eyes to what REAL +Live+ is all about and how Ed ruined a great thing and that we will all be better off without him.

Much Thanks!

TC

I don't know what to say... You're welcome? eh.gif

I think the most interesting thing about your comment is that fans on the outside of this community don't really understand the controversy because the media doesn't cover it and because the band doesn't spend much time dwelling in it.

I would love some participant observation/survey of some fans of ed at one of his shows to learn what the fans on the ground think. Just how much do they know? Are they like you and uninformed or are they in denial. My bet would be that they are uninformed.

He ruined Live, but don't forget all the good things he has done.

Exactly. That is what is really heartbreaking about all of this, he was so damn talented and had so much heart back in the day and now its all faded. At least we have the cd's and videos to listen to and watch, and that has to be good enough i guess.
