And yes, this is Live-related because Live is one of the bands in this bracket.

Get ready for some teeth grinders...

Btw, the video for the RHCP was mistakenly posted as the video for Stone Temple Pilots. There's actually a few screw ups with the videos.

I know Presidents. But some of those bands are really local-local-local. on the other hand I discovered 7Mary3 about a week ago. Funny enough.

with the exception of King's X, all of those bands in the bracket were really mainstream and had a ton of radio play. I'm surprised that folks wouldn't be familiar with them. I suppose if you were too young during the decade then some might be unheard of, but these bands were pretty much staples of modern rock / alternative radio stations during the 90s, at least in the USA.

I think it depended on your geographic location. Bands like Hum, Failure, Cracker, and King's X got little to no radio play where I live. In fact I don't think I ever heard Cracker, and I know I never heard King's X, on the radio. I found out about Cracker through this compilation cd that they were giving away or selling at Taco Bell. Remember the "Do Something" cd? Their song Low was on that.
