Did anyone else on these here boards go to the concert last night? I did and I'd like to get the opinions of anyone else that went on what they thought of it before I post my take on the evening. smile.gif

I thought it was a bit mellow for a Live concert. The accoustics were not as good as some of the other venues I have seen them in. But it was still hreat to see Live.

My wife, daughter & I were in the front row and totally enjoyed the show (it's nice living 5 miles away). I thought Ed had much more energy and was in a better mood than the last show I saw in Vegas '02. Even though the setlist didn't include some of the better-known songs it was nice to hear something new. Yes, the crowds were mellow compared to some shows but everyone around us had a great time.

One thing I think Live needs to get better at is transitioning from one song to another. They stopped after every song for a drink or a guitar change. My other favorite band Rush is great at this.

Speaking of guitars - who is the moron that takes FOREVER to tune the guitars??? Third straight show for me where Live's been at least 30 minutes late.

Doug
