Hey guys - I don't know if this has been brought up - sorry for being redundant if it's already here somewhere. But is anyone else experiencing VERY slow loading? I'm on a cable modem at work AND at home, and since we've been given this new board by our wonderful Dan, who I adore, even if he's not real, I don't know ... the background graphic displays itself, then the rest of everything else takes a good 5 seconds or so before it shows up. And sometimes it doesn't even load correctly.

When I'm visiting my mom and playing on her 56k phone connection instead of hanging out with her, it sometimes doesn't even load at all. I sometimes get the background graphic, and all sorts of garbled text.

Anyone else??

Mine definitley loads more slowly than the old one. My biggest problem is when I submit a post it takes 5 secs or so before the thread pops back up.

I correct myself. 10 secs per post. Its ok though. Still better than going over to the Nazi board.

yeah, I've experienced it as well, eventhough I must say that it loaded slower while on os9.2 than on osx.3

it loads graphics only, and takes forever to load text, especially in long threads, or in threads with lots of posts that I didnt read already

recently it works alright for me.... but I can understand it's annoying as hell

Alot of it has to do with with the server being a piece of shit. Hopefully I can switch to a new one soon. Until then, try switching to the Birds Of Pray theme, it works like a charm for me.

I have tried reducing the amount of queries on the database over the past couple of days, so both skins should be running a tad faster as of now.
