The new release date for the US is May 9th.

i thought this new label wanted to IMPROVE live's appeal. this isn't the way to do it.

i've got so much going on in my life right now, it's not all that big a deal to me personally. but the principle of the thing is bugging me. if they push it back one more time after this, i'm just going to refuse to buy it.

More promotion for the album/single is a good thing. Hot A/C takes a while to build...this gives "The River" another month.

I don't understand this decision.
Are they affraid or something?
Whatever the date they will choose they will have competition against them.

So by the time the album will be out it will already be the second single. Maybe they count on another song than The River to sell records. Maybe TomKr from Illout can help us finding another song that has a great potential.

Or again it can be that they will be sure to be in the US when the album comes out.

Still their decision. I admit they do alot to promote the band, but they are not easy to follow. I give them the chance! huh.gif

The Goo Goo Dolls released Better Days on Sept 18th and the album is scheduled for April 4th. The song is finally at the top of the Hot A/C charts and now starting to climb the Pop charts. The River will be around for a long time. I wouldn't expect a second single from SFBM until the Fall.
