Ed just posed on instagram stating that he IS Līve and all songs are his. I wonder what prompted this.

I founded the band "LIVE".
I named it and I alone wrote
exactly 100% of all the lyrics,
lyrical melodies and 95% of all
the music in "LIVE".
Including but not limited to,
"Lightning Crashes" "I Alone",
"All Over You", "Overcome",
"Heaven", and "The Dolphin's
Cry".
In other words, if you sing along
at any time to a song to "LIVE",
you are singing along to my
personal lyrical and melodic
work, alone, and no one else's.

Regardless whether or not he always was Live, he is now. Maybe now that nothing is stopping him he can puit out some new music.

I wish Ed all the best in the future. Life is way too short for him not to be out doing what he is doing right now, and he has every right to be happy and not have to deal with the BS the other members have brought into the band. There's more runway behind him than ahead and he should enjoy a drama free life.

But you can't totally discredit the other members' contributions over the years to the band's sound, which supported his lyrics and melodies.

Also noticed that on Instagram, freaks4live's bio says:
"LIVE is Founding Member/Lead Singer Ed Kowalczyk - Zak Loy, Chris Heerlein, Robin Diaz, Nick Jay".

It's been like that for a while. I guess Ed doesn't want anybody claiming to be misled when attending a show.
