This is a truly great release, on DVD or CD. Ninety minutes of Collective Soul's greatest songs backed perfectly by a symphony orchestra with a very enthusiastic audience.

We were indeed part of that very enthusiastic audience! What an amazingly special show that was. And now we can watch it forever! They added some special songs for the set with the Orchestra. Like Crown, and Pretty Donna, and She Said. Stuff they never play and was just perfect with the orchestra backing them. I was moved to tears several times both during the show and watching the finished product on DVD. It's very appropriately called Home, since they were home when they filmed it. They made it a night that will never be forgotten for a lot of people

All those kids are under 17, can you believe it? Some of them even missed their senior prom for it. They did a phenomenal job

And, oh yeah. If you look at the crowd during Gel, when Ed comes over to Joel's side of the stage (the guitar player, and on the side with Ryan at the drums) you can see me jumping up and down. wink.gif

I heart Collective Soul. I heart Home.

I'm having withdrawals because I haven't seen them in concert since December 1 (I was spoiled and saw them twice within a two weeks span).

I cried several times at that show and yes - Crown was definitely one of those times! I dont think it made the recording but right before he sang it he said 'this is for my Dad, who art in Heaven"

Ac?! you BET we're going to AC! And to Allentown the night before. It's Ed and Joel acoustic. And FOSTER CHILD! You know?! KEVIN MILLER's new band. I heart the Kevin!! Are you guys going?

This is one of the best things CS has ever done! And it's not just an orchestra...it's the atlanta symphony youth orchestra.. the BEST 125 kids in the world musicly. My friend lisa was there both nights too.

I was at the show the second night...INCREDIBLE! Good news, CS is teaming up w/AYSO again 8/27 at Chastain Park in ATL. Pre-sale tickets are on sale now. Password is 997. If you can make this show, you definitely should. Excellent venue!

Aww it's so cool that someone else from this board was there! Were you in the pit or the seats? I wish I could do the Chastain Park show but I'm saving up for the Rock Boat.
