After the success of the predicting Trump thread, the time has come to predict what will come in Biden's time in office. What do you anticipate in a political sense?

I predict:

- The US will work to repair relations with allies that have been damaged by the previous administration.
- More protection and rights for immigrants
- An economy that struggles as it will take a few years to rebound from the economic impact of the virus.
- A gradual return to civility in public discourse
- The first female president (due to a health issue with Biden during his term)

I agree with 1-4 and hope they aren't too gradual. I also hope Biden is able to complete his term without any medical issues. If he does, I wonder if he'll run again in 4 years.

I dunno what predictions I would make, but I certainly hope he has a solid presidency that brings reality and truth back into the mainstream. And also some solid environmental decisions.

I predict that Biden is going to basically be a moderate republican. He will accelerate foreign wars, go light on the taxes for the rich, pander to the religious, increase military funding, and do absolutely nothing for the environment. He is not a progressive candidate, though he might have been progressive back in his youth. Things have changed.

I don't see him making major expansions to healthcare - certainly not nationalized healthcare. He may make small changes, like ones that let corporations get richer in healthcare, but that's about it.

His administration certainly won't do anything about serious police reform

He might actually do something about education reform, both primary or at the college level. Something good could come of it.

He will keep up the deportations and ice raids for sure. He will keep up the imprisoning of kids for sure.

I do see him improving relations with europe, especially in establishing better trade.

I see him kissing up to china, though he really shouldn't.

I could see him decriminalizing pot at the national level.

Currently I see him as a 1 term president due to his age, but time will tell! God I hope trump doesn't come back. We already have enough old men.

I'll leave a note for history too. Right now, the majority of conservatives believe that biden has some kind of secret brain tumor and that Kamela harris is going to take over, which is scary because they don't trust black women. Additionally, a good chunk of conservatives are refusing to vaccinate.

I predict that Biden will be pushed out in two years to make way for Kamala.

Pushed out via health reasons or devious political maneuvering?

Four years of governing that are very similar to what we saw in 2009-2013, lots of left of center policies but nothing too extreme. Liberals complain because Biden can’t get enough done, conservatives complain because he gets too much done, but the relative even split of the government makes any governing and change difficult.

Lots of interpartisan bickering but a relative calm compared to what we saw the last four years. Republicans retake the house in 2022 but Democrats expand Senate control and the Supreme Court moves back to a 5-4 split by 2024.

Biden serves four years but doesn’t seek re-election.

Yep, fully agree. If Kamala runs, the conservatives' heads would explode and it would probably be a red wave. This country doesn't want a woman running it and it REALLY doesn't want a non-white person running it. People are fucking backwards. At least the baby boomers are dying off.

Will we have a Live show or new Live song by the end of it?

Those are my main questions.

My guess - yes. Will there be new material at said show? Maybe a cover. It's a sad state for live currently.

Biden would probably pronounce the band's name as Live (rhymes with give), and that's assuming he can avoid throwing it out of his mouth like you'd toss a baby down a flight of stairs.
