Live on Newsgroups, alt.music.live.the.band Options

There used to be a time where there were multiple forums, websites, chat rooms and mailing lists where fans could talk about Live.

Did anybody here ever use newsgroups (Usenet) and in particular visit the alt.music.live.the.band or alt.music.live groups?

I used to access newsgroups through my mail client (remember Eudora?) but there were specialised apps you could use as well.

These days Usenet is mainly used for music, video, application piracy and all the discussion groups are no longer frequented by real people.

Scroll down to about 2004 (as that's when people stopped using it - it's full of spam now) and you might find some interesting conversations. TDTH was slammed by fans at the time.
