I had to start a topic for the sole purpose of praising this song...

AWESOME...

Only 7 listens in now, and this is a top-20 LIVE song for me (that's saying A LOT)

The tempo-change is just phenomenal

Can't wait to see it in concert cool.gif

Yes! Couldn't agree more. I love this song. It has a certain magical quality to it that few other songs have had. Pillar of Davidson and Gas Head Goes West are the two i can think of off the top of my head.

I am excited about the direction they have taken with their music. Hopefully they can blend what they are doing now with a little more writing input from the rest of the guys.

Night of nights is an awesome song. It, Wings and Night of Nights are my top 3 right now.

I agree, great song. Perfect for the last song on the album, like Dance with You of TDTH IMOP. It reminds me of Ghost with the backing vocals and haunting sound to it. Can't wait to here it in concert!

ohw, just posted this in the wrong thread I guess:

yeah, Night of Nights is a great song (btw, a song which lyric's doesn't contain the title, Live didn't write a song without singing the title for a few years, but that's just I thing I noticed), but I don't understand it in comparison with the other songs, why aren't there more songs in the style of Night of Nights? Can it be something promising for the future-Live?

I wasn't on the 6.6 show, but I find this set list on the net:

Simple Creed/All Over You/Selling The Drama/The River/Mystery/They Stood Up For Love/I Walk The Line/Wings/Lightning Crashes/Lakini's Juice/The Dolphin's Cry/I Alone/Heaven/Show

Ekstra: Overcome/Mirror Song/White, Discussion/Sofia/Voodoo Lady/Dance With You

On the 6.7 show, that was awesome, they didn't play Overcome. But they opened with Rattlesnake. They play Iris, Run to the Water , Shit Town, Turn my Head and all of the other songs from the 6.6 show.
Lakinis's Juice has never been my favoritte, but it really really kicked ass this night. Everybody in The Rockefeller Music Hall was jumping, including the band.
