It’s been a while since I’ve rewatched Live’s official music videos. I thought it might be a fun topic, if I post one now and then, we rewatch, and comment our thoughts on them (I guess YouTube style comments—love reading those). I’ll try to go in order.

This video is what got me into the band. Thought provoking lyrics from shirtless guys dancing around a bonfire!... I had to go get the album right away! Played it to death. This song is still one of my favorites, along with You Are the World.

My folks thought this song was Satanic because of the lyrics and the video, lol. It does have that Lord of the Flies feel to it.

Haha! Very true. Luckily my single mom never paid attention to what I was listening to. I -still- can’t believe she let my friends and I be dropped off alone for heavy metal concerts at the ripe old age of 14.

Ah, Ed with his Jim Carrey haircut! I love when he plays guitar. Pat slappin’ that bass. They were so young and hungry here. I remember when I first saw this on MTV, too. It makes me nostalgic for when MTV was cool.
