Random Strangers and Līve Options

So this happened to me today, and I thought it might make for a good topic. Or maybe not. Can’t hurt to ask.

How many of you have been approached by a random person, when you are out and about, about the Līve t-shirt you are wearing? What did he/she say? Not at a Līve concert, where there are going to be other fans, though. I’m talking random places. I’m always surprised the few times it has happened to me, since Līve is so underrated.

Today I’m wearing a Līve 2018 tour shirt. I was at the supermarket and a guy working in the deli, came all the way out of the deli, still wearing his little hair net, to talk to me as I’m perusing over cheese. He says, “Līve!!” I say, “Yes!! I’ve loved them for all time.” He then says, and this sounded almost insulting, “When’s the last time they had a good album?” I sheepishly say, “1999. But they put out a pretty decent EP last year, and they still tour! They are in Austin and Corpus next month.” He says, “Really?! I listened to them the album before Throwing Copper.” “Me too, that’s when I became a fan. You can’t go wrong listening to the first 4 albums. Go see them. They are still good.” He said, “I just might.”
