We're all fucked. Hopefully some new Live music will provide distraction as the world burns around us.

Lol, really? People are so over the top. If I were an American citizen I'd be very happy right now. A win for the working class!

We always talk about Anniversary releases, so LIVE needs to have the 20 year anniversary release of their mentality during the SS era! guitar.gif

The voting system for president is screwed up, more people vote for Clinton but Trump wins.

What? Trump won the uneducated vote. These are the same people he will try to screw over (along with your daughter). The working class is the group that will be taken advantage of.

Our country should be embarrassed., Trump is a sexist, racist biggot. Going to lead our country and people are already protesting in the streets.

He did not get the majority vote but wins - again it is a fucked up system.

The best part about that is that Trump was complaining about electoral votes a few years ago needing to be done away with. Guess they're ok now they're in his favour. Likewise, no need to investigate the legitimacy of the election since it was in his favour. If anyone is "waiting to see if he follows through on what he says" then you've not been paying attention given the fact he has contradicted himself already on so many things, why would it give you any reason to believe he'll stop now?

Anyways, Live related - I really hope we don't hear a cash-in political album/songs. It was bad enough when the war in Iraq broke out and every band in existence felt the need to chime in on that, including Live.

He's a politician now, does anyone expect a politician to follow through on their campaign promises?

Haha. My fear was my post would lead to a political debate, which is fine, I guess. It's on our minds.

I was just expressing a sentiment about Live at their best. Much of Mental Jewelry was a reaction to the Gulf War.

A win? For the working class? Only the white portion of the working class voted for Trump; everyone else either voted for Johnson, Clinton, or didn't vote at all.

I would say that a very segregated portion of the working class got who they voted for. But I would not call it a win.

Nice to see the majority of Live fans on the same page. smile.gif

I've been in a fog the last 2 days.. really depressing. I had a laugh last night though when I was flipping through the channels and stopped on Fox News as Megyn Kelly was urging her intern on the street to stop some of the protesters and ask them questions. So I had to watch for a bit. Did anyone see that?

This one protestor starts talking about how Trump doesn't represent him and his peers, then looks into the camera live and says "Grab Donald Trump by the P***!" It was immature of course.. but on Fox News, Priceless!

----

The world is burning down
Can't you smell the smoke in the air?
War, disease, and famine
This demon, she is everywhere

Poets and preachers and politicians
They've all had their say
And we got 10,000 years
Devoted to nothing
But tomorrow and yesterday

After the election, Arizona still had 600000 votes (early mailed-in) that were yet to be counted. That could change the presidency, legal weed in AZ, senate and other political races. Who knows when they will finish counting.
