I really recommend checking out this band from Cambridge, UK (my neck of the woods!). They've just followed up their first record - The Day's War - with and even better one (Things Will Matter) of which I've posted a few songs below.

I listen to a lot of different stuff but wouldn't post this here if I didn't think fans of LIVE might like it!

Rattlesnakes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSob56u-G2g

Diamond Days: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Imilc9nlqEA

Enjoy! (maybe)

I love this band too. Their debut album was exceptional. Backroads, Deserter and the phenomenally epic The Blue, The Green are my favourites. River,River from the deluxe edition is also worth a listen.

I listened to the handful of tunes they released prior to the new album release and wasn't overly impressed. Only Rattlesnakes grabbed me as a single. However after giving Things will Matter a few spins I've changed my mind. Brilliant album, which to me has to be listened to in its entirety to fully appreciate the songs.

As a single I thought Black Mire was just ok, but coming after the minimalistic Wait in the Car, it just smacks you in the face. Really superb stuff. Hope they tour Australia soon.

Great to hear there's another fan here! Like you I wasn't grabbed by bits I heard ahead of the record, but it all makes sense within that context - the booming Black Mire after the ponderous opener, the immediacy of Strange Like I after the forlornness of Tank Wave. I could go on and I agree - it's a brilliantly put together record. I went to see them for the first time on the day of its release (met the guys too!) in Cambridge and they sounded fucking sensational. They didn't play Control or Victory Line though but you can't have everything!

Really encouraging that they are picking up fans on the other side of the world, I hope they get over there at some point for you to see them.

I like it, good stuff, the video with the horse is awesome. I'll have to get ahold of some of their stuff.
