I'd have to listen back again, but after a second listen I swear "Fire" was referenced in 4 or 5 of the 11 songs.

Hard to look up for sure with no lyrics. If anyone wants to check my math please feel free.

Edit: These songs for sure

Ha! That's funny, especially because Live's last official song before the hiatus was "Purifier" off of Live at the Paradiso.

Send your fire
Purify me
Send your fire lord
Purify me
Open my eyes, so I can see
Send your fire lord
Purify me

Picking up right where they left off. Now what's Chris going to replace "lord" with? wink.gif

right...it's easy to find Ed singing about fire

"supernatural fire"
"meltdown" chorus "from the one who is fire"
"Run to the water" - nuclear fire of love
zion - "everything's on fire, ain't no peace in this crazy town"

etc etc

I don't think I caught one water reference. That was actually refreshing on a Live album.

Haha, this topic made me laugh. Maybe it's because Fire and Water are two completly different things, and EK and CS are two completly different singers.

I still long for Ed's iconic early 90's voice however Chris' is a refreshing change from the same old burnt out adult contemporary Ed version of the last 10 years.

Maybe it could use some water. After the first couple of days listening to this album, I thought it would be one of my favorites. Initially it sounds amazing and explosive. Then after a couple days, the whole album feels a bit dry. I'm already getting burned out from it. The explosive hard-hitting, no time to let the songs breathe, all of it just leaves me feeling exhausted and dehydrated.
