Maybe when I was 15 I'd have been excited about this line up but ... eh, it's impressive I'll give it that, same guy puts together Harvest Festival which I'm going to this year, he gets some big acts ... but I can't stand most of these bands now. Although I'll be praying for side shows from Tomahawk and Fozzy!

Offspring and Blink (with Travis yeah yeah yeah) pretty spectacular!!! I can't stand the hoardes of people though sad.gif. I want guaranteed up near the front or nothing! 10 years waiting for Blink 182 to come back - but think I'm past festivals sad.gif

You just gotta go to the right festivals I guess, I still maintain Bluesfest is Australia's best festival in terms of how it's run/crowd/quality of acts. I can't think of many worse that I'd rather be at than sharing with the average Soundwave goer. But like I say, can't deny they scored some massive names here!

That Soundwave lineup rivals some of the classic Big Day Out shows of the late 90's to early 2000's. I hope a few sideshows are announced because my days of standing outside all day are all but over.

That looks like the greatest thing ever... I'm glad to see you aussies getting some good shows. To add to the tread, I found a website that said anthrax, sum41, dragonforce, and flogging molly will be there. I'd go if it were just metallica and a perfect circle.
