Maybe OTD or Zman can get this request to the boys.

When the Foo Fighters released their last album, they put up a webcast of them playing the entire album live.

The whole thing electric would be cool but maybe an acoustic set with mostly the new songs and a few older songs that were released after MTV Unplugged. I always wanted to see another unplugged set from Live.

Maybe I'm naive but this couldn't be that expensive for the band to pull off and it would be an awesome treat for us diehard fans.

OTD, what do you think?

Mark Tremonti did something a little similar to what the FF did with his new album. On his website, there is video of 1 or 2 performances of songs on the new album.

So LIVE could record and then just post it on the website. They wouldn't necessarily have to play the entire album through in order (although that would be wicked awesome if they did).

I'd REALLY like to see something like this happen. Let me know what they say OTD. kicking.gif

And an idea like this doesn't have to be "Here are the free songs/videos". There are a ton of options like charging a small amount for the content ($1, $2, $3) and using that money to donate to a charity or even to fund the production of something like the Churchbox Sessions.

A million options and probably a bunch no one has ever done. Could be worth their time.

This would be a great way to put out b-sides that we've never heard or don't have great versions of.

What the Foo's did, playing their entire album from start to finish, was awesome!

I have no problem of donating to hear the new music in any version (Accoustic or Album version).

And a donation for the Churchbox Sessions is the greatest Idea I have seen!!!! happy.gif

I think Churchbox is what the band would be renamed if Ed took over from KM in Candlebox.
