QUOTE
Ed Kowalczyk, widely known as the lead-singer/songwriter/guitarist of the band LIVE, has built an impressive résumé with his bandmates that includes eight full-length albums that have reached gold and platinum status in 9 countries with total album sales exceeding 20 million, and nine Top 10 radio hits such as “Lightning Crashes”, “I Alone”, “Selling The Drama” and “Heaven”. Live has been one of the most successful and enduring alternative rock bands of the 1990s and 2000s. One of the main things that have enabled Live to maintain a devoted fan base is the substantial and durable nature of their lyrics, which have often reflected Kowalczyk's personal and spiritual concerns. “My approach as a songwriter is to write songs that are not finite and will resonate with listeners for a really long time,” Kowalczyk asserts. “Sixteen years after our first album, Mental Jewelry, I am still able to get something out of songs Live recorded in the early 1990s--and I think that one of the reasons why we have had so many fans for so long is that our fans are also continuing to find nuances in the songs.” Ed released his first solo album, Alive, in 2010, which spawned the hit single “Grace”, and he is also the creator/producer of the acoustic tours, Open Wings Broken Strings and is launching a new acoustic show called, I Alone - Acoustic in 2012.

What year are we living in... we haven't gone back to 2007 in the way back machine when Ed was the lead singer of Live, right?

No wonder people are confused about the status of Live. I'm confused now. For someone so willing and anxious to move on from the past...he sure as hell can't let it go. Sweet Jesus!

Everyone call the venues inform them their marquees are incorrect.

It is just beyond sad and ridiculous at this point. Ed knows damn well how he is being presented. It doesn't go on this long and happen this many times without it getting back to Ed. Ed doesn't name his tour the "I, Alone" tour without knowing how he is being billed at every venue. He doesn't fill his setlist with Live songs if he doesn't know how he is being billed.

Ed didn't count on CCP being able to find someone like Shinn. He didn't count on Live fans understanding what he somehow doesn't; that Live is about the music, not about the members. He has been put out in the rain and he knows it.

Now Ed is clinging to the one thing that made him relevant and he is looking more and more like a d-bag and a hypocrite with each passing second.

I hope Live re-records EVERY song because watching what Ed is doing now is starting to ruin the old songs.

What a joke he has become.

Yeah, it seems to have actually gotten worse since it became clear that Live was continuing without him. The whole situation is really sad.

Exactly right get on the phone call the proper people and call EK out for his blatant use of the past (that he has said he is moving away from) to promote his concerts. I was able to get some change to take place with his upcoming show in Charlotte, NC so I am sure it can be done with this show as well.

It is now obvious this is all being done on purpose. His setlist, the tour name, and how he is being billed is a trifecta.

If you consider the overall information and the length of time this has happened it has now become deception.

Ed is deceiving Live fans, and in turn his solo fans, all for the sake of money. What a complete asshole.

EDIT: And in addition to all that his new music sucks. So there is really nothing redeeming about Ed Kowalczyk.

It's basically "the winning 3", it's mostly used in horse racing where you bet on the horses that will come 1st, 2nd and 3rd, and if your bet wins, you win the trifecta! But its basically just a combination of 3 things.
