While LIVE is a great name for a band it is often confusing to separate them from other groups especially on the internet. A search for "live" will bring up all sorts of things...

Which song by live would make the best name for the band? You can assume that the song would have a different title so that it doesn't conflict. For example, if you think that "The Distance" would have made a cool band name we can pretend the song would have actually been called "Desert Solitaire" or something...

We are just going on names here so you can hate the song but think it would have made an awesome band name. Example: Flow

One of the worst songs might actually be one of the best band names. The River.

Runners up:

Top
Ghost
Iris
Rattlesnake

Couldn't have gone wrong with 'Public Affection' in my book, but LIVE is/was apt (First 4 albums anyways)

Operation Spirit woulda been cool.

Or use an abbreviation as a name for a band, like:

PLOTR
BAC
PLY
POD
BOG
WITR

or

I'm glad to see that the topic has generated so many responses and varied ones at that!

I love Brothers Unaware... I hadn't thought of that one.

My vote would have to go for "Run to the Water" for a band name. Rolls off the tongue, has mysticism to it, and incorporates water and running which all in many of live's songs.
