2Pac appeared on stage and performed along side Snoop Dog at the Coachella music festival this past Sunday. This occurred 16 years after Pac was shot to death in Vegas. The performance was a realistic hologram of 2Pac. Check it out!

Would have been awesome to actually see.

This may have your answer: http://entertainment.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2...c-festival?lite

All I have to say is that if the technology is there the possibilities are endless. It would be awesome going to a place like a casino to see a Elvis, Michael Jackson, Kurt Kobain, Jimmy Hendrix, Bob Marley or even The Beatles perform a whole show as holograms. I'm sure there would be a market for stuff like that. I'd be interested.

Hell, you could even go see a Live SS Tour show with Ed if it were out there to convert into a hologram performance.

Hey if Dre and Snoop go on tour and take their 2-Pac hologram along, I'd be interesting in going.

Yeah I don't really like this whole thing, but I quoted this because I thought it was funny. lol.gif

All this will do is line the suits' pockets with more money. Don't think we won't see attempts at things like Queen on tour with FREDDY MERCURY or Nirvana WITH KURT. I think it's disgusting, and if the music landscape weren't such shit it wouldn't even be happening.

I have a feeling that Dave Grohl won't agree to the Nirvana one, and would not be a part of it.

Based on everything I've seen and know, I'd still hate the EK hologram. I'm cool with Chris Shinn.

Fans: Well we're not going to go in that case!

Fans get hologramed ... so basically its just "the other guy" in Nirvana playing with holograms, to holograms. Awesome!

Welcome to the future.

This came into being when folks started photoshopping audience members into concert pictures.

It would be cool to have Nirvana play at my backyard BBQ, but I would not pay to see a concert.

Too true.

I was pretty scared by what I saw.

But I think Ed's beanie hat could be hologrammed. The one that was photoshopped for his gig pic.
