Ed Kowalczyk - former frontman of Live, label on Alive Options

There has been a lot of discussion recently of the way that Ed is being promoted for his concerts.

Often his shows have been marketed as "Ed Kowalzyk of Live" or "Live's Ed Kowalczyk". These phrases infer that Ed is still currently a part of Live.

Whether this is a directive from Ed's management or whether the concert promoter is doing it on their own accord is not clear but I recently purchased the Alive album on vinyl (arrived a couple of days ago) and the following sticker was on the cover.



Here Ed is being labeled as the "former frontman of Live". If this fact is noted prominently on Ed's solo album then I believe that it's the concert promoters who are responsible for the incorrect attribution and not something controlled from the Ed camp.

See that's the way it should be, it's factual and isn't so hard to do. I'd have guessed it be the concert promoters for the most part too, but if Ed was aware of that and did nothin then that's poor. Of course we don't know if Ed knows or not but surely itd be hard for him not to. I doubt concert posters are run past him but if we see it I'm sure he has and done nothing to stop it.
Again that's the lesser of 2 evils, Ed directly insisting he be promoted that way would be much worse and it's nice to know that's most likely not the case.

I think you got a fake. This is what was shipped to me. Although it looked like the packaging had been tampered with.
