How's life guys?!

This may sound crazy, but here is the idea:

We get all the musicians from this forum to join in on this, or at least those people who are interested.

The idea is to put the track together. Each one records their line on top of the existing line which will be created by one of us, for example bass and drums.

We can create even more than one track together (depends on how many people will join in) and see what will come up.

Anyone who plays and instrument or sings are welcome to join in ;-)))

Let's first get the line up of instruments, than we will assign the parts, write the lyrics (for example) and will start.

Anyone who makes the beats using whatever software (q base) can create the beat that we can all adjust to.

Hopefully this thread will turn into something bigger than just talkin'.

Let me know if anybody is interested.

Regards,

Vadim

How come you have 980 posts and yet your name doesn't ring a single bell!?

Regardless, this sounds like a pretty cool idea. Not sure I could contribute unless you're after a super safe and gentle acoustic guitar rhythm piece but, still, totally behind you, sir.

He used to post here under another name so Dan transferred all his old posts over.

It is a pretty cool and unique idea, I'd contribute of I could some vocals but I got no home studio or means of doing so easily.

Do you want to start of with an acoustic guitar rhythm? If you can record the part and send it to me, I will be able to add some more of the stuff on top.

Pokey, do you have any music mixing softwares? For example adobe audition 1.5? If you do have a mic you can install audition 1.5 and record the vocals over there.

Keep in touch guys.

Could do. Could lay down some super simple base for the song. Wouldn't be able to do it for a little while though - I'm currently away from my guitar, y'see. Kinda need it.

Well, sounds like a plan. We can put it on hold till you get the guitar/bass and start of the track.

Damn, I have been involved into this kinda shit loads of times. That simple Creed cover was done by me and the band being 1000000 km away from each other. And I also recorded a Depeche Mode song with a girl from another city who is now my wife
