Here is an excellent professional recording of Live during their Distance to Here tour. The sound quality on this is amazing and well worth adding to your collection. I personally ripped this from a CD-R I've had in my collection for over 10 years. EAC was able to rip it without errors and I've FLAC'd and tagged the files. Also included in some artwork I found at http://www.live4evil.com

I'm not sure whether this is the full concert as it's only 12 tracks and it's missing Lightning Crashes. So unless anybody can confirm otherwise I will assume this is an incomplete recording.

Interesting fact is that Muse was the opening act for this show (as well as for other shows on this leg of the tour)

This link contains two versions of the show. The original version I posted as well as another version from a bootleg CD that "thatsme" subsequently posted.

Have this one as a silver disc which contains some more tracks (still not the complete set) :

Dance with you, TSUFL, Turn my head (acoustic, cut) and Lightning Crashes.

Will rip them for you.

RTTW, I alone and a full version of Turn my head are the remaining missing tracks from the FM broadcast.

I know there's an audience recording of the whole show floating around, but it's not really a good quality one.

Thanks for the additional info thumbsup.gif - I never knew that this show was bootlegged. I'd love to see the cover if you could take a photo of it.

Edit: I've been listening to this recording and it may not be a radio broadcast as Ed drops the F-bomb during Shit Towne and there aren't any radio station IDs, so this may be a pre-FM.

You'll have to wait a few days, but I'll scan the cover too. It's pretty ugly thought.

I actually like the keyboards, reminds me of something Regurgitator would do. But the standout track on this CD is Pillar of Davidson - Ed just nails it. A couple of weeks later there's another great performance of the track at the Rockpalast show in Germany. Luckily that time it was preserved on video as well.

I think the theme and feel of a song like Heropsychodreamer is a far cry from needing to cross over into Regurgitator territory. It kind of takes away from the brooding feel of the song. I still maintain that I don't mind the keyboards on songs TDTH onwards, but trying to make them fit into songs that they weren't intended for didn't work.

Actually except Operation Spirit, whilst its not my favorite version of the song, it sounds pretty good. I did like how that song evolved, in the MJ and TC days it was in a pure rock format akin to that recording on the Dennis whatever his name is show. then in the SS era it took on a darker feel with more of Ed's almost middle eastern vocalising in it. Then in TDTH it almost felt like a rock-dance track.

Same tracks than yours actually, but mixed in a different order (?!) + 4 more songs.
