With the release of SFBM I have come up with my latest all time favourite Live album. Some obvious one's and some of my personal favs. Here it is (in order):

1. The Dam from Otter Creek - The best opener on any Live album. Must be listened to on max volume. Great song!

2. Lakini's Juice - Another Live classic. Brilliant in concert.

3. I Alone - Must have heard this song over 5000 times by now and still love it like the first time. I'd say my fav Live song of all time!

4. The Beauty of Gray - Had to have one from MJ. This is my favourite from an excellent album.

5. Show - One of my favs off the new one. Live show their roots with this one.

6. Lightning Crashes - The crowd always rise to this song in concert. One of the greatest songs of all time!

7. Like I Do - Remember hearing this for the first time in my car and was impressed immediately. Fantastic in convert too. Marvellous song!

8. Voodoo Lady - Some of the best lyrics Ed has written. Hauntingly sexy!

9. Deeper - Not on any of their albums but my fav of the non released stuff. If any Live fans havent heard it yet do so! Its great!

10. Lighthouse - Always gets the blood flowing thru the body!

11. Like a Soldier - Although not everyone's favourite i have always really liked this, including the rap!!

12. Heropsychodreamer - A superb rock song!

13. Insomnia and the Hole in the Universe - Another great song off SS. Some lyrics that i have never worked out but have always loved. I really like Ed's 'out there' writing on SS, esp. on this one.

14. Night of Nights - A superb end to SFBM. This is Live at their best.

15. White, Discussion - Just a brilliant rock song and a great closer to a concert or album.

There you have it. My all time favourite Live album. Hope everyone is enjoying SFBM as i am. Take care,

BearDan.

That's a good list. To me, Iris is the best song ever made in the history of rock music. Lift me up is Live's best from the unreleased stuff.

Iris is definitely the best Live song for me as well. And I cannot imagine TDAO anywhere else but in the opening track. thumbsup.gif

I cannot really write a single list with my favs Live songs. I have burnt 4 CDs of 16 songs each and I really enjoy them all. It is 64 Live songs which are all beautiful. I have never done so with any other band on the planet.

Vine Street is a sick song. rockin.gif

I would enjoy Tired of Me a lot if it wasn't so repetitive.

Vine Street's a B-side. I'm trying to remember where it originated from and can't. But I know it was on an FOL gift one year.
