To start, fucking a.
The best concert I have ever been to! The sound was great the fans were great! I was a little miffed that it was the same setlist as they used in Pittsburg, but really who cares! Chad Taylor got warmed up fast and graced us with some wonderful improve and even better stomping! Sean and Pat played great as well, but Gracey and Martn tore the place down. CG was in a great mood and played the best I have evr heard him play.
I didnt know what to think of Kevin when i bought the cd. I'm glad to say the show in pittsburg helped me make up my mind, but the show in Indy last night made him a god in my eyes. He is ten fold the performer Ed was, and so friendly. He recognized me after the show and had remembered my name, no easy feat I am sure, and that I was at the Pittsburg show.
The whole band was so friendly after the show, Chad Taylor was in an estatic mood and I heard him tell Bill T, that this show had been the best played so far and that the others were pretty damn good. BS? After the show the band told a few of us that they were going to a local dive bar and that we should join them. I did and it was the coolest experience of my life. I left with no money (thanks to certain members of the band) but a new found passion for The Gracious Few. Who was LIVE again? 5 stars, Two thumbs up, Fucking Fantastic Show!

also there should be a high Q boot out of it soon! as well as full video. I meet a really nice guy who sacraficed his arms to get the video and sound! props to that dude!

Sounds like a great show! Looking forward to the boot.

Just gotta remember until they come out with another cd, they are kinda limited on changes to the setlist. Maybe a change in the order, but other than playing different songs in their 'Front Porch' session (I'm assuming they played it last night)...it's going to be the same songs.

Glad you had a good time though!

Hi Ian,

It was great to meet you last night along with Doug, our videographer. I spent many a night at the Alley Cat and as I showed you the way to the bar I was wondering if we would ever hear from you again! Many don't survive that place. You're right, the show was great and my ears are still ringing. The band was great to meet after the show. I asked Pat about the absence of the front porch. He replied that it seemed to slow the pace of the energy as well as sustain it through the rest of the show. They like the notion of starting and finishing fast, not giving the audience a chance to lose momentum. As you're aware all 3 bands were like that. This old man was tired. Anyway, I got a couple of great pics of you as well as others that I'll try and upload as quick as possible. Send me a pm with an email address and I'll send the best of what I took.

Later,

Denny

As it turns out Doug is not out there. He is an old CB fan and is not usually (if ever) on this site, but soon as I get his version It will be on here believe me!

I talked w/ him on Dime after he taped Candlebox, so I would assume he'll upload there when he gets around to finishing it. Did he video the entire set, or just parts? Was the lighting good in there?

Whole set, but no pics due to poor lighting, the video he showed me looked pretty good though. and yes he said it would be on dime, but I'll just repost it here for the sake of it. smile.gif

To all

Doug posts on thegraciousfans.com forum. His forum name is tst4eko or something like that. I know he is a huge Rush fan as am I and has some great vids of them. He says his videos are of that quality. I took some cool pics at the Indy show with a brand new camera and am having difficulty with the new camera software for some reason. It gave me the blue screen of death! Maybe I should reqd some instructions. Give me some time, I'll work it out.

Yeah, I agree Ian, I should have gone-work at 7:00 am be damned. As I was walking back to my car, I almost turned around. I agree the, show was fantastic. I've seen LIVE 13 times and I don't think I've ever seen Taylor rock like that. Drucie was standing behind me and said she thought Chad was going to hit me on the head with his guitar. That would have been awesome. Anyway, I'll drop you a reply email.

Later
