I only put the songs which have a real guitar feature and not just backing solos (although those are awesome).

I love CT on Honest Man but Sing has a really impressive solo, I'll vote someday...

Will have to withhold my vote till I hear the solo in "All I Hear" tomorrow but for now the solo in Crying Time would get my vote. Not necessarily because it's the most awesome solo straight up but because of how it fits in with the rest of the song. It just adds a great emotional punch after Kevin's lamenting Ohhhs.

Oh, you probably meant Crying Time and not Chad Taylor.

Very confusing.

Mwahahah!

Honest Man features a WICKED solo, but I am probably voting for CT as well.

It just has a perfect place in the song, nothing more

I agree. In my opinion, the solo in Sing blows away any other guitar work on the album hands down. Nothing else even comes close except that of Honest Man really.

I love the nastiness of the solo on Nothing But Love.

The guitar work in the background of Guilty Fever is killer, but it isn't up loud enough for me.

Hi gang,

After spinning the CD 5 or 6 times, I selected Chad's solo on Honest Man simply cause I think the song is their signature song and I'm used to Chad's abrupt, scratchy, chaotic solos-of which I love and would like to see more of. I will say that Sean's solo on Nothing But Love is just as good. It has that David Gilmour feel, very melodic with a spacey quality. I equate Chad to having a Neil Young/Joe Walsh quality where Sean has David Gilmour/Slash type qualities. Tehy are completely different and I think they are a great combination that compliment each other well. Anyway, what a great album.

Later,

Indy

I chose the solo on Sing. Soaring, melodic and played with a great touch. The style reminds me of Prince who I think is one hellova a playa! Killer solo Memphis!

YES! That's what it reminds me of!! It's got that emotional kinda "Purple Rain" solo vibe to it. Great job dude. thumbsup.gif
