i dont know how to merge threads but +Ed+ had an interesting dream about ......ed.....which i thought was revealing. perhaps he'd like to repost it here?

im in too much of a rush to doccument an actual dream now, but a few years ago i decided to interrupt my obvious life-long commitement to smoking with a brief retreat into health and started wearing the patches. Holy crap, for a week i was waking up soaking in sweat and screaming. The nightmares were horribly vivid and terrifying. not like normal nightmares, but truly hellish. I discovered later after reading the information leaflet inside the packet of niccotine patches that "Night Terrors" were a common side-effect of this medication. They weren't kidding. never knew medication could actually create dreams like that. I had simmilar experiences with effexor but that was more hearing actuall voices while i was awake.

last night I had a dream that Ed hopped over to Russia and I saw him at our local market. I was busy doing some groceries when I heard some fuss and saw the baldie approaching the place where I was shaking hands of the puzzled sellers from Ukraine and Kirgizia, giving praise to their tomatoes and cucumbers that were so cheap and good looking. The dream was so fucking real, that I could not help admiring the way he paid attention to all the vegetables he saw. I decided to stick to him for the time being and talked to him a lot. I remember nervously figuring what to ask him and decided to stay away from the break-up issues, not to make him feel uncomfortable at our market where he could have decided to do some shopping.

All I remember is that I took a couple of pics with him and asked several questions and when I finally decided to tell him to return to Live and beg for forgiveness, I came up to him, gave him a hug and said: you have no idea how you influenced my life ffs, you, fucker, and I would love to tell you.... when he suddenly became disinterrested, hit the bar and asked fro a glass of pure water. I sat in front of him and suddenly remembered what Merica was tweeting him yesterday and asked: Ed! What is your fave Live bside?

And he answered: Whatever.

I was soooo glad that he said Whatever, because in my dream I was so sure that he meant Susquehanna. Only when I woke up I figured that he was talking of an Oasis single back from 1994.

THIS is freaky.. i had a dream last night and i was watching the Grace video in my dreams.. (still have that song, dammit, in my head this morning).

In the video, Ed had grown his hair back, and also had some hair plugs put it.. it was long and straight and he looked like Steve Perry! it was disturbing to say the least!

Well Heropsychodreamer does talk about that specifically, interesting that he brought it up. Although I'd much rather have the problem of not being able to picture women naked in my dreams than it being a reality in my life!

Fucking Inception. Tonight I had a dream in a dream for the first time in ages.

I was at some music fest where Live were performing. They seemed re-formed, as Chad T was really enjoying himself, Pat was on his knees (!!!) slamming the bass part (I recall it was STD for some reason) and only Gracey looked at the bald head with some kind of disgust which made him smash the drums even heavier than 10 years ago. They really seemed to be enjoying themselves. And after the show I rushed backstage to hug Chad and tell him how tremendous he was. He started crying and told me that he was living for people like me.

When I woke up, I told my gal about this dream, she laughed at me and said: It was not a dream!

And then I had to wake up again.

anyone ever had a lucid dream? These are dreams when you realise at some point that you are dreaming and can dictate every detail and outcome of the dream. It is a controversial phenomenon but has been well doccumented and can apparently be practised and controlled to a degree. I've only ever experienced lucid dreaming once. Basically i was in a large carpark and knew instantly i was in a dream, and that i could do whatever i wanted and it wouldnt matter. So naturally i decided to fly. And because it is a dream everything feels real so i was really flying, but with the benefit of having no fear of falling or dying as you do in a normal dream. I know i was laughing the whole time because i was very aware of the fact that i was in control and i allowed myself to wake up when i felt the time was right.

I had a massive weekend just prior to this experience which involved weed and it didnt go down too well. A physician considered administering anti-psychotic medication to bring me out of the psychotic episode i was suffering, but it didnt come to that for whatever reason. Anyway i had very strange dreams for a few days after that. But this was so much more than a strange dream, because i was in total control and knew exactly what was happening. Indescribable really.

I seem to have recurring dreams of plane crashes and tsunamis.
