This could have been posted in the 'other music' section as well, but whatever smile.gif

I'm really interested if there are many folks of this forum (with so many music lovers around), playing in a band?
If so, show your bandwebsite, if you have any! Or maybe any video's!

Well, very obviously, I'll start wink.gif.

I play in a band (5 persons), that i strated together with a friend of mine, but we play less than a year together, so that's not very long yet.

Our name is Out of the Blue.

For now, we're focussing on covers mainly, all more or less from the rock-genre (so not just a standard top 40 coverband). We plan to work on writing own songs when we're playing together a little longer.

We did a first performance for friends/family/etc a few weeks though, just as a try out.

our bandwebsite is www.outoftheblueonline.nl , which I made myself smile.gif (in Dutch though, sorry!)

There's a thread about my stuff on the music board! I also produced an album recently that you can hear at http://www.therestoration.net

I've produced quite a few things (including all of my band's work) but this one I was really proud of.

As I don't hang around in the Other Music section very much I didnt saw this link yet, but it looks great! Or do you mean the 'Sabotage Me song? (was that your band?). I saw that one!

Did you produce the music of the band that you linked to? I will listen to it later today. Their website looks really good btw.

I have only 1 vid of me and my friends that was shot with the help of Nokia N73 2 years ago. This was the only time we played together. I had not drummed for 8 years before this vid. We never gathered like that any other time,so check us out playing Oasis.

The bass fucks this one up pretty much

That was the last time. Summer 2008.

I have much better recordings of me drumming in mp3 when I recorded with a band in Scottland in 1999.

Yeah, Sabotage Me is the new EP from my latest project. The whole EP is available for free if you liked the song!

I produced the Restoration but unfortunately didn't have anything to do with the really nice website. smile.gif I also produced all of my band's stuff, of the things I've done our most recent EP and the Restoration album definitely pleased me the most on all levels.

I've done a fair bit of recording (producing and studio drumming) and touring over the years in different capacities, but none of it was as artistically exciting as this stuff. Unlike this stuff though it paid the bills, haha. I kind of gave up that career in exchange for art, which certainly informs many of my posts here. smile.gif

We need to have a drum jam session via the internet.

That would be sick... if I had more instruments than 1 Chad Gracey's drum stick.

I feel bad because this is the only vid I have of myself drumming actually and it is for sure none of my best. My best I have in mp3, it was recorded back in 1999 and it is pretty hard for to find now.

When I lived in Scotland, there was a band of guys, Oasis fans, who made music much similar to their idols, but the frontman had such a young voice he sounded like he was 7, not 17. But it is one of the few professional recordings I have. There my drumming is rated high in my head actually.

Must find it.

I found it! I found it!

It got transferred from an old tape, so the quali is not the best, but at least you can hear the drums!
