Was listening to one of Ed's acoustic solo gigs last night and heard him sing at the end of Sofia about a Tibetan Thunderstorm! I remember people talkiing about this title and wondering if it really existed. Well, I still dont know but I thought it was intresting he added that line at the end of the song when singing about coming down like rain and added coming down like a Tibetan Thunderstorm! ??????

It was the solo gig he had on June 30th 2009 in Holland.

Very interesting! Could very well be the case. We should ask him on Twitter.

What would be funnier is if they had nothing to do with each other, but after hearing online rumours he threw it in there to fuck with everyone haha

I actually was thinking the same thing! However, with Sofia having the line in about coming down like rain it would makes sense if maybe it started out with Tibetan Thunderstorm.

It only costs 99 cents to download it off his site. How about you upload it. Volume 3. thumbsup.gif

Oh so your contributing to the royality lawsuit too by downloading his bootlegs from his site.

I think that is a cying shame that he's performing the songs w/o sending the cash to his old mates.

If he sang 'Tibetan Thunderstorm' at the end of Sofia live in 2005, I would find it interesting, as it could have changed for the studio version. But now it's about 2009, I doubt it has anything to do with it. You may be right tho. Still weird this title was once on Wikipedia. You don't make a title up out of the blue, right? smile.gif

I actually downloaded all that stuff before I was aware of any of the lawsuit stuff. Its not like I am going to delete them or anything. I still like his solo acts, its his full rock band that I think is a bad idea.

So far it seems that just about every title we have heard of has come to light sooner or later. Such as Pop Vortex, Wash The Blood Away, Divided Mind Divided Planet. It would seemt that Tibetan Thunderstom probably did exist but Chad said he did not know of any SBFM outtakes so maybe it was Sofia that just changed titles. Didnt All I Need start out as Here To Stay? Just caught my ear when I heard it. I had actually never listened to that song on that download when I first bought it so that was the first time hearing it and thought it was worth mentioning.

Thanks. I thought it was going to be a whole 10 dollar album. I just want to hear the one song so that sounds like a fair price now.

Yea Ed should have to pay CCP their portion for the downloads if that is what their contracts say. If CCP are right, then the more people dl Ed's bootlegs, the more money will go to CCP, which would probably be favorable to CCP in light of the royalty lawsuit.

However Chad said Ed has every right to perform the songs he helped birth. I don't recall CCP asking for cash for Eds live performances after the breakup in the complaint, unless somehow that is part of what they demand from Levin. Not sure if you agree with Chad in that case.
