Hey matey, I pretty much dig the music... I feel, I once heard couple of your tunes over at myspace. Pretty tremendous drumming, I must say... but you know what... I totally dislike the Muse-like vocals. Other than that the song is pretty cool and I will for sure spread the word on it.

Any albums coming soon?

Thanks for the compliments on the drumming! The drums on the latest EP are probably the best I've ever recorded (playing and soundwise). I'm pretty damn excited about them if I'm allowed to say that. Normally I hate my drums on recording.

I do have a couple of questions if you don't mind. Are you just not into Muse? Or do you not like that they sound similar to Muse? Feel free to answer however, we get that comparison a lot (although the new music sounds less Muse than the old stuff thank goodness). It is funny though because the lead singer and I had been doing projects together long before we ever heard of Muse. You'll have to let me know if the vocals grow on you!

I'm glad you like the album too, that thing is old and crusty to me but there are some really good tunes on there. Overall we weren't great at recording yet, but that's why it is a learning process right? The other new songs blow it out of the water.

Feel free to download both things and share them with people!! Facebook it, whatever! The EP comes out June 1 and it is going to be a free download as well.

Oh and I don't know where my Grammy is. Maybe this little thread right here is the start of my campaign. smile.gif

The vocal definitely sounds like Bellamy to me. And no, I for sure have spun first two Muse recordings zillions of times, but not their latest ones. Starting with 3d, as you can figure. They are tremendous musicians, but they keep whining over and over again. I am not that teenager anymore yanno. lol.gif

And I do spin those from time to time, and the thing I do not like is that it SOUNDS LIKE smth. If a band has nothing new, or is compared to some other band in this way, I personally find it hard to enjoy the recording to the fullest.

To be honest, while listening to the album, I also was expecting some Museisms to surface. But the only time I thought about it was when the keyboards came to place and I thought: "There! The Piano", but it did not sound Musey to me and neither did the record itself, which is one solid fucking good rock album.

I will create a thread about your band on the most popular russian music forum and we will see if we have some feedback.

I love Muse' Absolution album and I think it is one of the finest rock albums in recent memory. However, the rest of their albums really only have a few bright spots for me. Absolution was definitely their most unique work and really when they were at the top of their game musically and creatively.

Having a piano and playing minor chords always draws a comparison to Muse now, but we prefer to credit that to earlier artists because that is who we are truly inspired by.

That is awesome about that thread!! lol.gif Could you send me a link to it? Hopefully it won't fall flat. Just so long as you point them to where they can hear the new song first that should help.

Thanks so much +Ed+!!

I gotta ask man, what in the world is "booogoga" ? I've seen you write this as (I think) a laugh a few times now, please tell me this is actually the noise you make when you laugh .. if so, get recording! hehe.gif

As for the music, totally dig it! I got a bit worried at first when I heard the guitar, not really "my sound", but the singer surprised me and has a great voice, some nice drumming of course, good quality recording .. overall seriously a top sound! I'd listen to more than the first song but it wont let me. I should share some of the stuff I've done recently, I used to sing with my cousins old band, then they broke up and moved on to something else, but recently we just jammed a few things out, but only the 3 of us so we don't have a drummer yet haha so we've been improvising with digital drums nervous.gif

Digital drums? Kill me now!! Just kidding... sort of.

Thanks for the compliments! I'll be updating when the whole thing launches. You should be able to hear the old album I think.
